Now when you click the option to the send it as gift, you have to type in the person's email address which sometimes I don't have available , and the kindle book stays on the person's wish list after the purchase is complete.
I tried talking to customer service about it, and they told me to just log into the account and delete the item from the wish list. I can't log into the account, since it's not my account. I'm shopping for someone else, which is what most people do when shopping off wish lists.
I need a solution for deleting items especially kindle books bought from someone else's wish list so that they don't end up with duplicates. I also need a solution for buying kindle books off wish lists without having to know the email address they use for their amazon account.
How are you getting your family's wish lists? In order to view a particular list, they would send a link to their list for you to purchase from or you could search for their public lists with their name. I'm most likely way off base I am having the same problem noted by frustratedwithlists.
I saved my family's wishlists to My Lists a long time ago. I used to be able to easily buy a kindle book for a family member off of their list and it sent it to their saved e-mail and removed it from their list.
