I have logged over hours into Fallout:New Vegas, and the people in charge of this site have probably never even played past the tutorial.
I know the game like the back of my hand, and i can say that this game is really good for development of understanding. At this point, you a white-bread overprotective parent are probably going "Oh, this kid is crazy, video games can't be good, i want to buy little Jacob a more appropriate thing" If you are thinking this, please go actually WATCH a video of the game.
Here is a perfectly good example from the game, there is a farm that is suffering from radiation poisoning, caused by an underground fallout shelter's generator failing. You go in and find the generator causing this, but then, four people beg you not to turn it off because if you do, it will kill them. Now you have to decide, do i rescue the people inside there, saving them but dooming farmers to starvation? Or do i turn off the generator and kill the people inside, but save the farmers from starvation?
It's a moral dilemma, and moral dilemmas build character. This is not for the small of brains, or the very young, but it can teach some serious lessons about values necessary for survival in the real world. This is a really great game. It has a massive and diverse world to explore and lots and lots of activities and side quests to participate in. It is probably my favorite game of all time. But, it is really bloody. I knew that it would be bloody, but I didn't think it would be as bloody as it is. There is something in this game called VATS, which is a targeting system where you can pick which body part you want to shoot.
If you shoot someone with VATS and you have a powerful enough weapon, it can be extremely bloody. I shot someone in the head with VATS once, and it exploded into a shower of blood and chunks. The good thing is, you don't have to use VATS, but you likely will if you get the game because it makes getting kills so much easier. But even if you don't use Vats, heads and limbs can still be blown apart.

And for about 30 minutes I've been reloading my file and re-killing him, So satisfying.
User Info: justin2k9. You can do the quest with fantastic dead as long as you get the quest off him, talk to the follower guy, then do what the follower wants you to do. He'd give you the reward instead of fantastic. Or just complete the quest then come back and put holes in him.
